Many families can’t afford or lack access to private tutoring, which can be $100 per hour! With academic support, these students can expand their opportunities and dream bigger dreams.

We believe that consistent, positive relationships have the power to change lives!  That’s why our tutors get to work 1-on-1 with the same student each week.

Accessible & Flexible

Our tutoring is 100% virtual, so geography, or lack of transportation is not a barrier providing more access to both our students and our tutors.

You set your own schedule. Tutor as many hours a week though we do ask you tutor a minimum of 1 hour per week.

I love tutoring at Learn To Be. We now have Zoom, with recordings, and we have messaging through the site. There is a streamlined process for making first appointments and weekly appointments. There is a consistent flow of new students. There is a neat, easy framework for finding out when students and tutors are available. President's Volunteer Service Award

In 2003, the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation founded the President’s Volunteer Service Award to recognize the important role of volunteers in America’s strength and national identity. This award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation and inspires those around them to take action, too.

Federal Work Study

Federal Work-Study provides part-time jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay education expenses. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student’s course of study.

In 2023, Learn To Be has become a Federal Work Study Employer at numerous colleges around the country.
